My friend Nazarine had a few of us from the office come to her home for a luncheon. She has a beautiful home and really went all out for us girls. The food was awesome. She has a sweet family. What a fun day!!

We took the girls to a girl scout event. We had lots of fun. They stuffed stockings for the servicemen in Iraq, learned how to decorate cupcakes and made pottery. The girls are all so cute in their bakers hats!! They had so much fun!!

My grandma died on Thursday. We went to her wake last night. She looked beautiful and at peace. She was ill the last few months so I know now she is in a better place. She lived to be 91 years old. My mom and dad and Aunt and Uncle flew back to Ohio today to have her funeral there and be buried next to grandpa. God Bless you grandma! We love you and will miss you!

Its been so long since I've written. We've been pretty busy. I was very proud of Johnny for getting the Character award at school. They had a special assembly for the kids.
Included is a pic of the girlscouts bowling at the new bowling alley. We had so much fun!!
Zachary is playing soccer and actually got to be the goalie. He's doing great!
John took the boys fishing and lil Ryan caught a huge fish. He was so proud of himself! John cooked the fish they caught tonight for dinner. Yummy!!

We had a fun birthday party for Zachary and friends at the new Brunswick bowling alley. I think he really enjoyed it. They had disco lights shooting down the alley and cool music.

In the morning we were taking pics of our dogs. They are part of our family and we love them so much. Deweys joints have been bothering him a lot lately though.

Nicole is turning 12 on Wednesday. She got a part in the Jungle book so her first practice is that day so we will wait for the weekend to have her party. She is a beautiful, sweet and talented little girl that I am very proud of and love very much!!

I've been sorta sad lately. My dear friend Marlie and her family moved to Virginia last week. She was the one person I hung out a lot with the kids. Her boys are very sweet and we will miss them dearly. It's not like they moved very close and I hate to fly so we will be lucky if we get out to visit sometime. I was thinking in a couple years we can get out to Washington DC and make a stop in Virginia.

Also are a couple pics of the kids for their first day of school. They are very happy and excited this year. They seemed to have gotten good teachers too.

We just got back from Mexico. We had such a relaxing time. It was so good to unwind. We slept a lot and ate too much!! Included are some pics of the kids on our sunset cruise. It was very beautiful out on the sea. We went down there with Wendy and her family and some of her extended family. I forgot to get pics of her boys. Included are pics of the kids on our cruise. In one pic Zachary is actually steering the boat. The Capt is standing behind him making sure we dont crash or anything.

We've had a really busy summer and I have had no time to blog. Im including pics of our end of girl scout party at our house earlier this month. We had a pool party and then went to learn karate. Of course I ended up signing the boys up for it. They seem to really enjoy it. Nicole and Johnny did two plays this month. They did a great job. I am so proud of them. They are very talented kids!! I think they found their niche. Thanks for coming to support them especially lil Caryss!! We're hoping to have a family gathering in a couple weeks. We are off to Mexico in a few days and looking forward to it.

Last weekend Josephine and I took the girlscouts to the Power Ranch carnival. The kids all had a blast. Zachary tagged along because John and Johnny went to a Diamondback game with Eric. Jonnie and Brookie were 2 teens that sang at the carnival for charity. The girls felt like they were at a Hillary Duff concert. Really neat to be that young and to want to change the world. Hope everyone had a wonderful mothers day!!

I have not updated my blog in a while because my camera has not been working very well and just that I've been running around so much that I have had no time. Johnnys play wrapped up after 6 shows and tons of rehearsals. It sure was fun!! He did so awesome and Im so proud of him for auditioning and performing in his first play!! The cast party is tomorrow night. He's sad because he wont see any of these kids anymore.

My birthday is on Sunday and John and I are going to Rocky Point to stay in one of the beautiful resorts on Sandy beach. I think it is so beautiful there and cant wait to go for a few days just to unwind. I got a new camera for my birthday so will take lots of pics. The kids are staying here with mom and Cherie and Julie. I don't think we have ever left them. Im sure they will have lots of fun. Iv'e been milking my birthday for all its worth. Tonight Josephine surprised me at our girl scout meeting with a cake. Everyone sang for me. It was so sweet of her to remember me. She also gave me some awesome gifts!!! Mom had a party for John, dad, and I at her house this past weekend. It was fun being with everyone. And last weekend we had a get together here for Pearl and John and Caryss' birthday with Johns family. I love April. Lots of parties!!

Here is a cast pic of Johnnys play that he will be in through Gilbert Fine Arts. It is getting down to the wire now. The play runs 4/4-4/11 with 9 performances. He is practicing 3 days a week. The dance numbers have a lot of choregraphy and he doesn't quite have them all down yet. Im nervous!! I hope he can get it down. I wanted to get a flyer on but it wont download. I will email everyone a flyer if I can.

We went to the church picnic on Sunday. We had a lot of fun. Plenty of games and food. The kids kept winning cake at the cake walk. I entered a raffle for a 2008 mustang. It sure would be cool to win that!! Our good friends the Cranes and the Omalleys were there along with mom and dad and Cherie and Tim and their kids.

I was in the hair salon and a young man walked in asking who would like to buy a turtle. Of course I had to buy 3. One for each of the kids. I couldn't wait to give it to them because they've been asking for a long time. When I got home, I had them close their eyes and put out their hands. They were sooooooooooo excited!! I got hugs and kisses and thank you mommy all night. We cleaned out our aquarium and made a nice home for them.

We went out to Serranos for dinner last night. Boy was it good!! So much for my diet this weekend. Aterwards, Josephine and Eric took us by a house I saw on realtor.com. I loved it!! If we could sell our house, we would probably make an offer. It's 3600 ft and in Cortina. There are so many good deals out there, that you have to practically give your house away and we're not willing to do that. Our next door neighbor just sold their house after being up for just over a month. They had a big moving sale today and I bought their patio set. It's pretty nice and the price was just right. Tomorrow we are going to a church picnic. They have lots of games and fun things for the kids. Im making a cake right now for the cake walk. Should be fun.

I took Zachary to RE tonight at church. He sure loves it. He comes out of class so happy and eager to tell me what he has learned. He learned all about the last supper and the meaning of the bread of Christ. He is such a blessing and is such a happy kid most of the time. Right now he has a cold and is not feeling his best. Im wondering if he should go to school tomorrow because he is still awake with the sniffles. Poor kid!!

Yesterday we went to the Renaissance Festival with Marlie and her family. We had fun but it was very expensive and very crowded. The kids got to see a sword swallower though and thought that was cool. I forgot my camera though and I wanted to put up some pics. Sorry!

We didn't have a very exciting week except that we got new carpeting throughout the house. It's really beautiful!! It makes the house feel so new and clean. It was a headache moving everything but well worth it. I also bought a few pictures and moved things around a bit just for a change. Our house has been on the market since July and doesn't look like its going to sell so I thought I could change the decor a bit to get out of a rut. Fun! Im loving it!!

Johnny had his first football game on Saturday. Really fun watching him have so much fun! Drew and Ryan played right before him but I couldn't get off work early enough to see them (bummer). His games are interfering with his play rehearsals. but Im hoping he will be able to do both.

Nicole made us a really nice enchilada dinner with her girl scout troop. We really loved it! She loves to cook. I don't know where she got this artistic side from. She loves Art, Cooking, acting and even singing.

Zach is excited because he just learned how to tie his shoe tonight. He had to call Daddy and brag. He has been pretty sick with an ear and sinus infection but I think he is starting to feel better.

Today is Super Bowl Sunday. Can't wait to watch the game . We were invited to Ciannas for a party but the kids are sick so we are just going to stay at home. John took Zach to the NFL experience at the new football stadium in Glendale where the Super Bowl game will be. He had so much fun running relays, throwing a football, and seeing the football players walking around and doing their cable tv shows.

I had fun playing Bunco and LRC with the ladies from St. Mary Magdelene. What a fun group! I needed a night out. Yesterday we went to lil Ryans 7th birthday party. Cherie had a real nice party.

We just found out Johnny got the part of a football player in Back to the 80s. I think thats pretty good casting actually. I don't know how big the part is. First rehearsal is Tuesday. Tuesday nights are going to be rough for me because John is at work.

Mom and Dad babysat for me all day so I could go to Casa Grande for a count meeting (for work). It was a big waste of time!! The fun part was going to Olive Garden for lunch with the girls.

I loved the rain today. Even driving in it was fun!! Take care and God Bless.

Johnny and Nicole went to their audition yesterday. They did great in the singing and acting portion but not sure about the dancing. We will see. If anything, it was great experience to get up in front of a bunch of people and display their talents. We are having fun so thats what counts.

John and Nicole went to their first father/daughter dance at her school. They ate a wonderful Italian dinner and then danced the night away. Nicole came home real happy telling me how much fun she had with her daddy. Pics to follow.

John and I are going to the gym tomorrow to sign up and start getting healthy. It will be fun.

After looking at family member blogs, I decided it might be fun to post a blog. I just need to learn how to download pics. I will let John show me how. After a nice long weekend, the kids will be going back to school tomorrow. Ready set go for another busy week. The kids are all in cooking, acting, and Johnny is starting football. Nicole and Johnny are wanting to audition for some theatre around town. We will see what happens. They are all so full of life.
